Pumping Out To Your First Email List
Let me clear something up real fast… This is not a post for you would be assassins… lol
This for those of you who sometimes struggle with the feeling that you have to continuously have to have great, wonderful, powerful, dynamite extraordinary content for your blog posts.
Because you don’t.
The most important thing I can think of when it comes to writing a decent blog post is normally what I put in my blogpost. It’s obviously not great and fantastic stuff, it’s just some things that I feel might help you. And if not you, then possibly another reader.
After all, I am just one of millions of others out there in the Big Blogging World. If I get consumed by thinking I have to out blog someone else, or have better stuff than the next guy or girl, then I’m stopping myself at the starting gate.
Stop being your own worse critic and give yourself credit. If you are someone trying to make a better life, financially, by means of the Internet, then you are many, many steps ahead of the person who sits there and wishes they can make money via the Internet. Miles ahead…
So when it comes to writing your next post, remember this. Your not going to change the world…today. Your first and foremost doing this for you and those you love. If you think of something that makes you think hmmmm, then write it down. If a thought crosses your mind during the day and you think I should remember that, write it down! Going through your normal day, I promise you have great blog content happen around you.
My 3rd grade teacher, Mrs Gentch, stands out in my mind as my best teacher ever. The reason why is because she once told the class to take a moment and observe your surroundings. Don’t just look at your surroundings. Observe your surroundings. Notice things that you probably see every day.
I remember walking home from school that day looking at things. I mean really seeing and noticing and Observing Everything.
I believe Mrs, Gentch’s lesson effected me and fundamentally changed me as a young third grader. I not only looked outward, I also looked inside of me closer and started noticing the things a did more. I thank my teacher today for helping me open my eyes with a simple lesson plan.
So, I know that there are things that you can write about. If you end up helping someone along the way…great! If you end up helping yourself, even better!!

New To Article Marketing? The Story Of Mike B.
Mike B. is a good friend of mine. We know each other so well it’s like we’re related or something. Close friends sometimes don’t listen to each other, even when one has experience. Testosterone maybe? Who knows, maybe he just wanted to be right. It’s not like he wasn’t successful in his own endeavors, but I digress.
When I started to experience good success with my internet marketing, he got curious and decide to try his hand as well. He is pretty internet savy, but was still new to article marketing. There was lots for him to learn. I tried to give him pointers, but he shrugged me off and battled his own way.
In a way I am proud of him for doing that. He learned on his own. But he didn’t have to struggle like he did. When I was new to article marketing, I had a ton of learning to do. It took a long time to weed out those who were preying on me for a one time affiliate sale, and those who were truly out to help me. I spent thousands of dollars for that education.
I personally have several ‘systems’ that sounded like a perfect ‘do it for you’ solution. Totally turn-key right? Truth is, they were fugazzi gurus, as we call them in New York. They were preying on the fact that I, like millions of others, new to article marketing, were looking for a quick fix. Someone to ‘do it for them’. Once I bought their ‘crap in a box’, that was it. No support for the problems I encountered.
Like most so called turn key systems, they are created for those with equal internet and IT knowledge as themselves, not the newbie like myself.
Anyhow, Mike was at my house one day about a year ago and was farting around on my laptop. He came across the course I had purchased that was the start of most of my article marketing success. He read it all in about 30 minutes. I remember him shouting at me from the other room why the hell I hadn’t shown this to him. My exact words were, “I tried but you wouldn’t listen you hard headed SOB! You insisted on doing it your damn self!”
